Its strange to ask

Hallo! I feel a TLDR answer a-comin' on!

You are new, so I'll preface my reply by saying that my "ex" is not exactly as ex-ish as she should be, perhaps. Right. So.

1) My ex and I have never been 24/7, so there are plenty of times when we're just two girls without any kind of power differential (there are also times when we're both kittens without any kind of power differential).
2) When one of us is being on top/on the bottom, we switch, so I spend lots of time as a human while she is a kitten and vice versa.
3) And getting closer to what I think you're actually asking, yes, there were plenty of times when the person on the bottom was not a kitten. You'll notice a verb tense change here, because as friends we tend to spend a lot more time as either equals or as Top!Human/bottom!kitten. The latter dynamic is usually used for comforting the bottom!kitten when she's feeling down. Top!Human/bottom!human tended to come out when we were having sex whiiiiiiich we don't do anymore. But anyway, when we were, it wasn't a hard dynamic to get into at all. However, as points 1 and 2 demonstrate, we like to keep our roles pretty flexible.

Part of the fun of BDSM, for me, is getting to explore different power scenarios. Every single one will have its own unique appeal: Kitten/kitten, Human/kitten, Kitten/human, Human/human...all different, all fun (for me).

It is possible to always think of yourself as a kitty without actually acting like one. Sir always calls me kitty, and when I want it, I'll cuddle up against him, or I'll paw at his chest or arms, I'll give his cheek a lick; I'll do these things 24/7. I've been known to do that to him when he's dropping me off at work. But I do act normal for the most part.

When I'm actually doing kitty play, I'm usually home, or someplace where I won't attract too much attention. That's the time I'm usually wearing my ears and tail, crawling and mewing. It's when I get to let the whole kitty in me escape. But I always do think of myself as a kitty, no matter where or when I am.

It's a matter of figuring out which will work best for yourself. Trial and error (the fun kind =^.^=), and what you're interested in having in your relationship. Bondage is usually a big one with Sir and I when I'm kitty-upped. For some it may be service, or training; etc. Kitty play is anything you want it to be. But the key is to have fun with it, and let the kitty come out.

i do something similer Saberrah, when im out and about with my kittie she still keeps some traits like nosing and licking but (generally) we keep the tail, ears and going round on all fours for when were at home, im quite lucky as although i live in a houseshare with some mates that arnt into the lifestyle they know and dont mind that i am or that my kitten will follow me round on all fours meowing

generally she doesn't walk on all 4's becouse of the very simple fact that humans are not built for that and her body is weak as is. she does enjoy it, and she does do it, but not constantly.

as for out in public, i call her my pet and she calls me het master and wile we dont shout it from the rooftops we dont exactly hide it either, i'll call het to come to over or tell her to do something just as i would at home, and i pet and scratch her just the same.

to me she's my pet and wile the level of cat-ness displayed farries, she is and remains my pet.

I'm the same. I am always kitty whether I've got ears and tail or no. For Master and I our roles are constantly as Master/slave, but I am always kitty (which is what He calls me). I still keep a lot of those traits, usually little meows and purrs if we're out together.
When at home I don't usually get to stand, never get to sit on furniture (unless a special treat), and always eat from my kitty bowls on the floor, and that's all the time.
