What is WRONG with me?

I have a very, very sad truth for you all.

*takes a deep breath*

I..am incapable of finding good pictures of kitty-girls.

The picture thread here was a gold mine, really. But when I need to just find some anywhere else, that aren't related to an anime (Tokyo Mew Mew, for instance) I can't find anyyythinggg.

Am I just looking in the wrong places? Or do you just have to be patient and go through the others, and collect them over time?

And one more thing, how do you tell the fox-girls from the kitty-girls? I just realized the picture I was using previously was a fox. It has been replaced. *shakes a paw at it*

you can usually tell from fox or kitty by the tail. DeviantArt is a gold mine for all kinda of pictures. i found lots of kitty pics there (not anime ones).

Yes, DeviantArt.com is simply divine! Try that and let us know how you fare~

And usually you can tell foxes from kitties by white tufts at the tip of darker-colored ears and the tail. Or the ears might be thinner and pointer and the tail more bushy. Also, I'm not sure if a fox-girl would have a collar with a bell on it... but I dunno. o.0

Some kitties have tufts on the ears, like my favorite animal the Lynx. Not all kitties have a bell on collar either.

Foxes are going to generally be orange, have taller, thinner ears and a white tuft at the end of their tail (if drawn correctly -- though I suspect a lot of people don't).

I guess ears are the best place to look. If you look at vulpine ears vs. feline ears, the foxes have thinner, pointier ears, cats are a little less tall.

...Aw, what. The internet eated my post. Grr.

I was saying. *glares at computer*

I highly suspect people need to reference more when they draww. Usually when I'm looking I see what seem to be kitty-ears, but a poofy tail. No tufts of color, just poof.

I shall pay more attention to ears naow, though.
And not all kitties have collars on to begin with, even!

Ah, DevArt, of course! The only thing there, is I feel like I'm stealing even if I'm just saving for my eyes only.

On another note *facepaw* I think I should've posted this in the coffee lounge, not here.

Nah, this thread is just fine for your post. ^.^ And I think as long as you comment the artist, that it shouldn't be a problem for them if you saved their pictures.

Saving their art isnt a problem -- only if you repost it as your own or try to sell it will they get upset usually.

@ MysterNiteKatt: Thanks for the link! *browsing*

...That's..that's a lot of pictures. Wow. I guess I have something to do for the next few days noww. 3 cheers for insomnia! *raises a paw* I has it too. Thank you for the link!

Ah, yeah that's what I've been thinking. As long as I remember not to use it for anything.

Haha, upset 'usually', my butt. I've witnessed people on DevArt get pissy over another artist using remotely the same pose as someone else, even if it's a common pose. The large amount of drama there amazes me still. Eeesh.

Its true some people like the drama, but if its for your personal use, just to look at, they really shouldn't gripe. I mean..that's why I post art -- its so other people can enjoy it.
