i've wanted to go to A-Cen for a while. i was supposed to go last year with some friends, but the A-Cen funds went towards textbooks. this year doesn't look promising either. but someday, i shall go!

I go to cons when I can but being a poor college student I cant go to many. I never miss Yaoicon or Fanime and Im going to try to go to Anime on Display.

I was supposed to go to the next AnimeExpo, but as I am no longer "friends" with the person I was going with, it doesn't look like I will be going. :(
I was supposed to go as Yoko too (Yoko Ritono from Gurren Laggan)

Yeah, I've been a cosplayer for ages, so when I can afford it I go to whatever I can get to. Mainly I stick to local due to lack of funds (so south Florida mainly), but have gone as far as Dragon*Con (not an anime con, but multimedia) which is in Georgia. I plan to go to Comic Con hopefully next year to job hunt. XD *Is an artist*

When I was in Italy I sometimes went to Anime Fairs.
I've only cosplayed a couple of times, as Tohru Honda (from Fruits Basket) & Rinoa Heartly (from Final Fantasy VIII).

Master said we may go to Anime Fairs.
I'd really like it if we could cosplay as a couple, Master isn't against the idea.

I believe there is an Animecon in Dallas Texas in May, I plan on attending that one. My Master and I are going to dress up as a couple...he'll probably want to be Inuyasha, but I don't like Kagome....I want to be Sango or someone else...Hmmm *trys to think of better couples...* Anyway anyone else thinking of going to that one? It'd be nice to look at -someone- and say, "Don't I know you.." :P Also I want to go to the YAOIcon...I love Yaoi! I didn't even know it existed. Well I'll be on here off and on, but I'm also cleaning before I have to go to work so Master won't be upset with me. Please someone message me, I'm deprived of conversations because people are too busy to talk to me on the phone now a days.

OMG... Muraki (Yami no Matsuei) for the win.

If I were thin and lanky (never going to happen I'm a big guy and even thin would be tanked) I would totally go as my avi.

For all those interested, Yaoicon is every year around September or October in the San Francisco Bay area. The last few years it has been in San Mateo (just south of SF) but I heard it may be moving into SF or further south to San Jose because the place was too small for the ever growing crowd.

I must admit I've watched it a second time.... but still...

Bothered me a bit... but eventually it won't bother me so much. I'm just not a huge yaoi fan. -shrugs- Maybe sometime later...

Well I would recommend trying Yaoicon if you can. Most of the stuff they do is shonen-ai and the hardcore yaoi stuff is very avoidable. Over half the guys there are strait to be honest lol. Its a ton of fun for everyone besides homophobes, and people are much more friendly than at most cons due to the general open mindedness of all the guests.

I might have to show up there sometime. It'll be a couple years anyway to gather up the Hyatt points for it. That way the showing up and getting there will basically be free.

Well anime fan homophobes shouldn't go near anything with the word Yaoi anyway. I love shonen-ai, just the actual sex bothers me a bit. Not to mention being a video fan and a tech geek, the pixelation bothers me..... Yes I know what their pixellating.

I'll look into Yaoi con... but for now Ohayocon and ACEN and even Youmacon for me.

If anyone is interested Febuary 13-15 is Katsucon. It's held Arlington Virginia (near Washington DC). I'll probablly be headed that way so if anyone else is and wants to meet up let me know.

Yeah that could be rough. ACEN is a hard con to get a room for. I made phone calls the day the rooms opened in like october.

Try the Doubletree hotel. Its attached to the structure and I hear it is actually one of the best hotels in the whole complex.

Hopefully by then I'll have dropped down to nearly 300lbs and be looking sharp -shifty eyes- Its hard to convince people that buddha was a sex god. Much easier to be narcisus.

Ahhh! Ohayocon and ACen are the two conventions I go to every year (for the past 6 years)! I wish I would have read this earlier in time for it! Grrrrrrr! T.T

I have a friend (the one who named me Matt-sama) who is DEAD ON Ceres Victoria. And since she's lived just south of london her whole life...

I was going to fly her out for ACEN and Do an Alucard cosplay with her as Ceres. hehe.

I'm just going as an artist trying to make monies X3 Hopefully I will be able to pay for my foods while I'm there (that's the goal anyways). So..no actual cosplay for me, but I'll certainly be dressed as a neko of some kind of part of it! Yays!
