We do, on occasion. I've been known to randomly wear my ears, tail or collar when we go out. New Year's Eve we were going out to the casino, so I wore my collar and cat ear aviator hat. We had to stop off at his mom's house for a bit prior to going, and his grandma was there. She loved my collar, but was a little confused as to why I was wearing one, lol. She said it was beautiful, but not to let him use a leash on me. ;} Being the smartass kitty I am, I replied that it was him needing the leash. We all laughed.

Well, back when I was doing canine play, I would be walked on a leash in public and treated like a pet by my Masters. And me and the beau haven't been out much since the kitty thing started, but we've been open with it at the park. I have no issue wearing my gear out and about, so it will really be up to him when the time comes.

I tend to meow and bat at dust specks in public, but I've done that since I was a small child O_O. I don't exhibit any of the more sexual/BDSM aspects of kittenplay in public (e.g., wearing a collar, using titles, etc.). Obviously, different rules apply in non-regular-public such as at a play party or whatever.

I always wear my collar, except for at work, especially if I'm out with Sir. And when I'm with him, I can't help but feel/act subby/territorial anyway, so I almost always have my arm looped through his and try my best to stay as close to his side as possible.

Only rarely, though, does the D/s-ness actually get displayed, lol. Such as the other day in Wal-Mart, for example, when he deliberately grabbed the little D-ring on my collar and dragged me along behind him for no apparent reason, and then laughed at the look he got from this guy in the previous aisle. xD

I think I act the same in public as I do at home, and I do try to wear my collar as much as possible. But I can't really wear it to work or around family, so if we're doing something immediately after work, this kitty tends to be without her collar *grumbles*. And Sir always calls me kitty, and usually I call him Sir. Even with my family around, I tend to go between calling him Sir and his name.

hmm. No.

there is a simple reason for this:

Our parents, though some of the most understanding people would be hard pressed to accept it.
both our Grandparants are sick/dying and would probably cave in on the spot (both sides of our ancestry are very religious)

So i let her be "the litle deamon" when we are in public where she acts as if she's the domme. it's fun realy as there are people that actualy belive she has me under her thumb :P

it's all the more fun when we get home and she is all happy and jumpy becouse she could play pretend :P

There IS something to be said for keeping secrets. It makes one feel so...gloaty :D I kind of like giving people the wrong idea. It amuses me that so many people I know IRL think I'm this innocent little thing when I'm really...um....not *grins*

i wouldn't mind it, i'd actually really like to... but master says no, it's not acceptable to wear my collar out. i suggested we take a walk where we had our first date, innocently putting forward the idea that i could wear my collar, and he got very upset. given the choice, though, i definitely would wear my ears and collar in public. tail in public, though, might be a bit much for me...

Yeah we act pretty much the same. My collar never comes off because it is locked on, but the only real difference is I don't call him "Master" in public. I never address him by other means either. (He doesn't like to be called "sir" or "lord" or anything aside from "Master" really..) So I generally call him by his first name. He calls me "kitty" but that's not a big deal, since I wear my ears most places I go, and most people call me kitty.

Even when we are in private Master never calls me "slave" or anything that would obviously show off that I am in the bottom rank. He usually just calls me Kitty, or by my real name, Faete.

Aside from that, being in public doesn't really change the fact that I am HIS. I still do things for him (get his coat, or put it away, set out his dinner nicely, occaisionally feed him, purchase things etc...) depending on what he asks of me. Thing is, if you do it discreetly enough no one knows that it is D/S. It just looks like a married couple who get along really well.

im not really sure what Mistress would have me do out in public since we live so far apart and only got to see her IRL once but i asked her if some thigns could (of course i was abit afraid of asking since we are gorean but me being third boy sorta gave me the idea i asked her if she would be so kind and walk me around on a leash and collar aside from the whole D/s thing i wear collars anyway at school my friends love it and they do on occasion tug at my leash and pretend to drag me around it is funny for them and extra fun for me

I don't act the same at all. i live in a very religious small town that would probly burn my master and me both if they ever found out. But when we went to AWA (anime weekend Atlanta) i wore my collar and leash and ears. A few people even wanted to take pictures of us =3

I would like to wear my collar in public along with my ears but her family is semi-religious and would probably try to burn me at the stake if i tried and she says its makes her look odd...sigh i wish she could be more dominate about things, i need help...*crys*
