Maybe if you put up some criteria for what you're looking for then the kittens will have something to respond to.

Right now *smile* it kinds seems like you're over there saying, "hey kitty kitty, got a treat for ya", but we can't see, hear or smell anything, so like cautious kitties we stay hidden under the bed.

So not only do you contact random kitties without reading their profiles (some of us are owned & state it proudly) but you don't even bother actually writing anything on a post "Looking for a pet?"

I'm not entirely sure I want an owner ... kitten-play it's more of a passing interest for me. I don't even quite feel like I fit in here, where there's people for whom being a kitten isn't just for Christmas, so to speak ... ;)
