Thank you! Well...I'm Canadian, so I don't celebrate, but I'm currently trying to draw a turkey-cat for my ex, who's American, so I am in the Thanksgiving spirit. *goes back to trying to reconcile a cat tail with tail feathers*

I don't know how widely celebrated Canadian thanksgiving is though, and it was way back in October.

*giggles* It's...I guess it's widely celebrated enough, but I actually don't celebrate it either. Well...I celebrate the "days off school" part, but other than that, I've never done anything. My parents always told me it was kind of a Christian holiday in Canada, and I'm not Christian, which was why we didn't celebrate it. I don't know how entirely true that is though.

Yeah, its kind of the same here, in the states. Its not very clear when or where the first Thanksgiving was, but its been adopted as a mostly Christian holiday, I guess its a bit more widespread here.

I take it as more of good food and days off, with family than anything else, myself.

Yes, a very happy Thanksgiving to those that celebrate it! ^__^

It's more of a habit around here than anything, lol.

For those that are celebrating tomorrow, what are your plans?

First, Sir and I are going to have dinner with my Grandma around noon, then shortly after that, we're going to drop in on his step-mom and her family over at his old house.

I'm so excited to spend my first 'family-oriented' holiday with Sir. I'm not exactly family-oriented, myself, but I can't help being a bit sappy during such times, lol. I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy showing off a bit. :3

Yay for being English!

Not a single mention of thanksgiving.. I mean, why do you need two public holidays within a month of each other? Darn greedy yanks! Stealing all our womens they is!.. As well as causing todays economic troubles!

WHY ARE YOU HAVING A HOLIDAY INSTEAD OF SORTING OUT THE ECONOMY!
