Mhmm...it falls under fire play...at least, this process does. You take tea candle glasses, baby oil, 91% isopropyl Alcohol (or at least that's what they gave me). You rube the body area down with the baby oil (usually the back) then pour just a little bit of alcohol into the tea candle glasses, then light it on fire. Then you quickly turn it upside down and onto the body area, and the heat sucks the skin up into the glass, creating a suction. It's suppose to feel very good, like a deep tissue massage. I'm just a bit scared I'll get burned...cause fire is involved.

There's always the relaxing simple salt baths after a scene. The salt used to make ice cream does pull toxins from your body and relaxes the muscles. Definitely a great way to wind down after sceaning.

I... LOVE..... Fireplay! I have a pair of fire wands..... some cotton gloves.... the alcohol... Flash cotton does wonders.... but I digress. It's a very sensual thing indeed. The best thing with fire cupping is to get one of the made glass cupping sets and squirt some Purell in it and light it, then quickly place it on the skin. Least amount of harm that way. The fire stays away from the skin itself without needing additional apparatus. Creates a really good suction too. If you went ahead and oiled the skin down, you can move the cup around while keeping the suction.
And yes... it does promote the removal of toxins. Not because you are sucking daemons off... er out of the body... but that is nice too. *coughs* The negative vacuum in the cup promotes circulation and stimulates the nerves much like acupressure treatments. From what I know in a nutshell, it stimulates the healing process to help the body clear itself, regardless if you believe in Qi and the body leylines and all that.

I'll take a pic of the set I received sometime tonight and show you....and MAYBE (this is a very big maybe) get Sir to demonstrate how it's suppose to look when applied on me.

Alright, here are the pics I took of the set my friends got me. Didn't get one of it being actually used on me....but if/when I'm ready to try it, I'll make sure pics are taken! And just a quick note, when playing with fire, it's always good to have a third person there to be safe.
I should also mention (since someone was so good as to remind me =^.^=) that it's safe to have all your anti fire stuff near by; a damp towel, small bucket of water...the right kind of extinguisher. Better safe than sorry after all.
Supposedly if you rube the skin area with the baby oil first before lighting anything...it's not going to hurt at all. All you feel is a suction. But all my information is third hand even though I now have the supplies, so if you're wanting to try it to....find someone with experience to show you! I think I'm gonna want a up front and personal demonstration before I'll be brave enough to actual try.
