Favorite Aspect?

What's your favorite aspect of petplay? For me it's a way to escape and I identify with the mentality of a pet more than a human lots of times, especially when I'm in certain moods. I also like the way it's easier to get certain types of affection more than other times, or at least the way it makes me feel when I get that affection (not that I don't get more than enough other times.

Hm...I definitely like the escape it gives, but for me I think the favorite aspect is just the physical attention, and how it makes it ok to curl up at someone's feet or in their lap and get petted. :)

My favorite aspect? I dunno really. I love the process of "dressing up", the leash, the crawling. It's a way to get away from being the responsible me and just having fun and being taken care of. I guess for me, it's the whole of it that I enjoy.

The cuteness! I dunno, I just really like cute things. My room is PACKED to the gills with stuffed animals and other things like that. And I feel infinitely more comfortable being cute-sexy than being mature-sexy. And when I see cute things, my heart just clenches and melts. So...yes.

Hm, let's see, to put it simply, I really enjoy the whole idea of being an adored pet. ^^ Also, the cuddling, playing and dressing up are also amazing. :3

Just as Joli said. Just being treated as my Mistress's little kitten gives me this bigger and better feeling. Most people seem to hold deeper connections with their pets, and I guess that's how I see it when I'm in that headspace. But it's probably just me. ^-^

I have to second you on this one. It's what I love about it too. But from the other side of the fence obviously.

The taking complete care of a persons needs and life when they are totally giving themselves to you, dependent and willing. The adoration of them and their unconditional love of you.

Love that. Plus the dressing up and the snuggles. :)

Actually.. there's a question (at the risk of going off-topic).

Do many of the owners dress up for pet play? I know the pets do obviously. But how about the owners?

If so what kinds of outfits?

I've always liked the outfits that Simon Benson of petgirls.com wears...

When I've been taken care of by my owner friends, they haven't been dressed up....but usually they make sure I'm *not* dressed...sitting at their feet naked, while they get to stand up, or sit on the couch, and be dressed strongly reinforces for me who is the pet and who isn't....
