My mother's boss looks like a clone of the Doctor. It makes me giggle because he also wears converse with his suits.
What?! I wish I knew someone like that. The closest I come to being that guy is my blue plaid suit...which kind of makes me feel like the doctor...and I love it. :P
As far as David Tennant goes...I'm so sad he's leaving for 2010. Come on BBC! Lure him back with a doctor who feature film!
tehe everyone says my master looks like david tennant and then the other day a friend, who had recently read Richard Hammonds biography, said he looked like Richard Hammond! i think my master is way cuter, maybe if i can beg his permission i can upload a pic of him and you can see what you think :P but in my heart i already know he wont allow it.
I am a devoted new series whovian (I have basically every decent character from the new series as a nick on IRC *internet relay chat*) I dress as best as I can to LOOK like The Doctor, I am even known quite well on servers and chats as "The-Doctor"
I cannot even begin to explain how obessesed with this show I really am...but I will try *grin*
Captain Jack (John Barrowman) is completely sexable and snogilicious in my books, along with David Tennant (who I am extremely saddened to see go along with Russell T Davies, who really did make some of the better episodes of the new series, no matter what other people may think, along with bringing Doctor Who back from BBC hell to begin with!)
Favourite Companion: Rose Tyler then Professor River Song (yes, I know it was only 2 episodes but her performance was excellent) then the one from Voyage of The Damned, The Doctor/Donna was interesting but meh.
you really chose a topic i adore with all my heart.
the old series was made of cheese but I have grown fond of Davison's version of The Doctor, do NOT even get me started on how much I despise the world's "favourite" Doctor, Tom Baker.
Favourite Doctor Who Lines: (RTD wrote this and its almost like poetry.): The Doctor: There was a war. A Time War. The Last Great Time War. My people fought a race called the Daleks, for the sake of all creation. And they lost. We lost. Everyone lost. They're all gone now. My family. My friends. Even that sky. Oh, you should have seen it! That old planet.... The second sun would rise in the south, and the mountains would shine. The leaves on the trees were silver, when they caught the light, every morning it looked like a forest on fire. When the autumn came, a brilliant glow though the branches... |||||| The Doctor: I'm the Doctor. I'm a Time Lord. I'm from the planet Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborous. I'm 903 years old, and I'm the man who's going to save your lives and all six billion people on the planet below. You have a problem with that? ||||| The 9th Doctor: Everybody lives, Rose! Just this once! Everybody lives!! |||||| The 'Next' Doctor: "I'm The Doctor. Simply The Doctor. The One, The Only, And The Best!"
WHEW.
as you can now tell, I am obessesed with the new series. along with the fact I am planning on purchasing a Sonic Screwdriver this month, some would say the obessesion is a unhealthy one, yes. But we all have our unhealthy obessesions imo.
enough for one post I think *snaps fingers and summons the TARDIS*....."Allons-y!"
Cheers,
Voshra

and Donna? are you kidding me? I mean cmon, she looked so daft and old near the end of series 4! the plotline was goofy near the end of that season as well, but it also was quite epic bringing back you-know-who and such.
I'm quite sad Torchwood's series 3 is currently only confirmed for a 5 part mini-series, and that there is 3 or 4 (I can't quite remember being I'm not sure if "The Next Doctor" was counted into the 4 tennant specials before the 11th) and Matt Smith has to prove his skill as the Doctor to me, because I don't accept it...yet.
anywho, I'm just making a short post to revive this topic and let the forum know I am alive lol
and The_Sequel, if you have xbox back yet (I remember reading you had gotten it taken away or such for some reason in the 360 gamertag thread) feel free to add voshra00 ....though I am not on much anymore, time is short these days.
Cheers. Voshra

I should be getting my Xbox back...well...I mean I have it...I just need to call and nag Microsoft some more, or give up and accept that I lost $40 for no reason. And Yes, that's all the guy stole...$40. So yeah, once I have the time to set up a new Live account (time is short for me as well at the moment), the game shall be on.
And I think it's 4 specials plus "The Next Doctor". According to my knowledge of past christmas specials, "The Next Doctor" is considered part of season 4. It's stupid, but whatever.
And Rose...eh...I generally like to consider the companion characters themselves rather than the stories they happen to be involved in. Rose...was a naggy little blonde who ended up falling hopelessly in love with the Doctor...mhmm...because that's never happened before. Donna was decidedly not in love with the Doctor, and actually changed quite a bit by the end of the season. Dynamic characters, hurray! Also her and the doctor had some wonderful banter, which is the same reason I loved K-9.
Same with me on the topic of Matt Smith. I'm not quite accepting of him yet. His first episode needs to be GOOD...I mean really good. I've gotten quite tired of supposedly handsome people riding in on my favorite things and royally screwing it with sub-par acting...or terrible camera work...or cliche storylines...(of course, this is my mini-rant on my problems with Dollhouse and Castle, although I could talk for hours on that).
I am a old Whovian. In that I like the old series the best. Oh don't get me wrong I love the new ones just not as much as I do the older ones. Tom Baker and John Pewtree were the best Dr's going I believe. But as for companions SARAH JANE was the best along with K-9 (i'm sorry I love that dog). Out of the new Series Rose is okay but I agree Donna was the best, because you really never knew what she was thinking.
As kitty that has seen ALL and I mean all of the shows that survied, because at one point the BBC did not believe that Dr. Who would be so popular (40+ Years popular) I miss the few storylines that will never be seen because of this.
=^.^= I'm a sci-fi geek kitty.
