currently i do not work since i am at uni, and althoughi would love to be a stay at home slave, i want to work to provide for my Master

I work. I can't stand feeling like I'm mooching off of anyone, even if my Owner said he was perfectly fine with it. Plus, it makes buying presents easier since you don't have to ask for money to go buy him something =^.^=

we both work, in ****ty low paid jobs, but are currently formulating a plan, we want to open a bar and i want to have rooms, boutique style guest rooms. unfortunately our timing stinks! recession bloody recession! if we can sell our house we are going travelling for a bit then hopefully start our business.

I work and go to school. But because I really don't NEED to work, the money can be used for useful things... like toys and video games.

I'm a student, and sometimes I flip back and forth between wanting to work for my Mistress and wanting to be a stay at home pet. Of course you can't have it both ways. I'm hoping to get a job very soon, even though my Mistress says she loves to support me. I just need more monies than we have.

I work, but I work from home! :) We have a system of knocks on the wall though, so when Master needs me I can go do what he needs and then go back to work.

I like working, I like bringing in money for the family, but I also love that I can do it from home. I know I am very very lucky to be able to do that.

I'm in university right now, and I don't have time to work this semester, but short of winning the lottery before then, I'll definitely be working after I graduate. I don't like the thought of living off anyone but myself (or my parents, ha ha, since I'm not moving out until I'm finished school). And when I start working, even assuming I was in a relationship, I'd still be working for *me*, not for him/her.

I work a job as a typist at an Abstract company and Sir just recently got a job as a bartender (which he loves, hehe), I'm still waiting for the day to either be an at-home sub or to be able to actually work from home.

The worst part is that we both work at EXACT OPPOSITE TIMES, so as soon as I get home (which is 4 PM central time every weekday), he's just leaving for work if he's scheduled. It's odd. Lol.

[ Also, just a shout-out, Love_bunny and I are are both still alive and living in an apartment together. ^_^ Still waiting for internet, though, so the only time we get on is if we go to a friend's house. ]

I've recently moved to the US (since 1st October) and am searching for a job (having a hard time at it actually)

When I move in with Master we plan for me to have a part-time job though Master would want me to go to college.
I agree with Saberrah, I don't want to mooch off of anyone most especially Master. I want to be able to help out!

im needing to get a job here soon to buy my Mistress stuff and sweet things also to suport douggy im curently a student soon to get out of highschool then off to collage to study theater and woodworking (insert funny joke here) that way when we do move in with eachother i can suport them both i want to be a good pet and provide for my family but Mistress wants to get a job so that way she can help she hates mooching off people espcialy her pet i would have no problems with being the only one with a job i mean i have a guidline Daddy first fur second and slave third it works

I work two jobs to help Master, but I've been getting cut a lot of hours, so between the two of them I get maybe 15 hours a week. It's really sad, I may have to get a third job soon, or get on good paying job. It's hard out there for a kitty.

Because I don't have an owner I have the time to hang out 5 days a week at the university and work in a medical office as an assistant. No big deal though xD just entering stuff into the computer...

For the moment I am just a student, but when I am finished I will go work. Wheter I have a Mistress or not. I just want to make a career. The last three months I worked as a trainee and I have to admit, I like the job. Therefore I wont become a home cat. That just does not work for me.

I not with sir right now because of school but, we have discussed it and he wants me to work. Not because, he needs the money but, just because he wants me to have the money there in case something was to ever happen to one of us. Things happen that you don't always expect and it is always good to have a little left. Plus, I think it helps the boredom. I am constantly cleaning so there really is never a mess around anywhere. Always been extremly tidy scared of every little germ which I think sir finds amusing. Other than that it would be a income of in case anything was to happen to either of us or just something to keep me busy part time of corse :D

My master encourages me to follow whatever pursuits i like, which usually involves writing articles for magazines etc and unfortunately we arent rich enough to Rely solely on his income, so I dont mind working because I know Im making life easier for him, and Ive also met some quite extraordinary people through work. Some like minded people, and some not so like minded people lol

I don't work right now.... I want to so bad though.... It would help me pay for my rats and jewelry making, and it would be nice to be able to buy him presents as a suprise instead of having to ask for money :P. Technically I can just take it out of our joint account but I still feel awkward doing that without asking >_<

But sadly our plans have been shelved due to the in ability to sell our house, and also the fact we are useless with money. and not helped by the fact my thai relatives consulted a fortune teller and foretold a disasterous enterpriise. So for the time being no bar, no travelling, no fetish boutique style guest house, just working away as a crap make up girl. sniff sniff, sigh.

i think if it a full slave ownership the slave should work and the master should stay home doin what the master wants. but with pets master should take care of them as it is with real animals.

I'm inclined to disagree.

But then, I want to be a stay at home slave. biggrin

I think domestic service is a full-time job. If I were to do that and work, then I would never have time, or be to exhausted for Master to play with me.

Besides, I think Master would prefer to go out and make his stake in the world. Leave the menial day-to-day for his slave to take care of.

I could never be a stay-at-home-kitty. For us it's not a 24/7 thing, but more something we "play" (for lack of a better term) every once in a while. I'm really attached to my studies and the job I want to do after I finish (Phd and stuff), and he completely supports me in it. I think he would never even want me to just stay at home.

lol, I know what I said, but I wouldn't allow my master to financially support me fully (even though I don't have one), it just wouldn't be safe. I would feel guilty and I would worried that what if my master decided they didn't want me anymore or something one day, I would be stuck alone with no money.

I don't work. Oppa prefers to support me and has requested I not work. I can if I choose to. And I've been considering going back to work.

I was a Professional Body Piercer. But its been almost two years since I've pierced anyone.

I am a fill time student. I returned to college when I got to the point I am too old to work in a minimum wage job. My Lord has already told me to finish my BA and then we will desided how our lives will be lived after that. But I haven't told My Lord yet, but I plan on going to get a MA in Native American History, but I will cross that bridge some day. I just hope he doesn't take his shoe to Kitty's bum.

No, I don't work. I am a full time, stay at home, housepet. However, I do contribute to the household as I recieve SSI payments montly from the US Government. And I forget who said it, but yes, Domestic service IS A FULL TIME JOB!

Kitty is killing two birds with one pounce, (pun intended) since I am Native American and I love history. Why not learn all I can so that I can spread the knowledge to others. Native American history is not as explored as other forms of histories. Each day more and more of our history dies so I want to perserve as much as Kitty and My Lord will let me.

well, when i had an owner... i used to be an almost 24/7 home pet... Mistress worked at home so we had almost all day ( Neko-Chan is still a student ;P ). I would love to be a complete 24/7 kitten... I really would love it... but i have to study for the moment and well.. no owner -3-"

Currently enrolled at a university, will be going in as a pre-med major. I've got enough credits that I may be able to finish there in 3 years if things go well. I plan to work as a doctor at least part time, so me and my loves can have combined incomes -- it will make everything easier that way.

Now hoping my bf will be returning to the university Im at *fingers crossed*

I sell art on occasion now, but am pretty much unemployed.
