So i've decided to attempt to make my own set of paws since i found different colors of vinyl at a fabric store and this is probably a stupid question but does anyone know if you can sew vinyl? i wanna sew vinyl pads on to vinyl mitts and i wasnt sure just how ...fragile it is, if its prone to tearing and such. any help would be great, thanks! ^.^

M: vinyl needs a backing of some kind most of the time.
i have always sewn by hand but you can use a machine if you want.
how stiff is the vinyl you got?
how stiff is the vinyl that you are wanting to sew it onto?

they're the same material and i'm not even sure they're vinyl, they just look like it, closest thing I could ever find. They're both really thin, not stiff at all.

M: ok best thing would be to try a test first.
sew two pices together and see how well it works. you could even make the test into something you might use to see just how well it will hold up. that way you can tell if you will need a backing or not.
