Yeah but if I'm going to lower someone to only being useful like that, I might as well just drag them to that level. With proper attitude and mood you can drag a healthy sub to that lvl easily enough. But once again that comes down to my need to feel the flesh under my fingers and savor the feel of the real them. To be honest, the only fetish I have activly done is erotic hypnosis. It did involve alot of female domination, which I like.

 RL interaction. I've dabbled in a little bit of role-play with a few friends, but I imagine the real thing is a different sort of animal.I guess should have specified "role-playing" as anything from petplay to pretending to be vampires, people from different times, ect.

That Actually depends how well you do the RP. The Text-based RP can actually let you really explore things. As long as you really think about what your doing and throw yourself behind the interaction. However, there are a great deal of things that you'll have to think about your feelings more after that to know, "It feels great in RP, but I don't think I could do it in real life."

It was a common experience for me when I made the jump with a few of my friends. You do have to be careful, but RP will give you an idea of your own personal style and feelings about certain things within the bdsm world. However it helps more if you have a real connection with the character within the rp. (I still do the RP because I love the characters as at least one of them is the main character in my novel.)

 Its through mostly role-play, novels and interaction with my friends that I've got a general sense of what I'd like to try. Thanks for the input :3
