Should kittens be allowed to talk when in kitty form?

My Mistress enjoys it when I make kitty noises, and usually I don't talk. But because I don't live with just her, it would be kind of hard to explain to my family why I can't say anything. I haven't been in kitty form for longer than an hour though, so it's okay right now I think. She hasn't gotten bored yet.

Well thats the thing. In kitty form it would be fun to have a no speaking rule. But any other time of course you're not wearing ears and a tail or one or the other, its fine to talk. Make it up as you see fit. Seems like fun to me!

i dont like to talk when in kitten play but sometimes you just have to -Master can sometimes get quite confused as to what my meowing means so i have to tell him

Hmm, well it depends.

I wear kitty ears and tail a lot of the time, but I am not always in "kitty play mode". We try to incorporate my kitty personality into all areas of my life, a little bit. And in general, I am a bit cat-ish anyway.

But when I am actually in a kitty play scene - it's different. I don't talk. I mew, and act things out occaisionally, but I don't usually talk until I am released from being a kitty.

Then again like Kitten said, sometimes you need to talk. Occaisionally you need something very badly, but your master doesn't know what you are squealing about. lol. Guess it depends on the circumstances. But in general - I don't. ^_^

At first I thought "AH! You must pretend to be a kitten as much as possible!" and occasionally, my kitten and I do that, but that just isnt the most fun thing to do sometimes.. It can be more fun when your kitten doesnt have to spend 14 minutes trying to explain that her right foot has gone dead :P

If both of you feel you should stay mute, do so! However, nothing says that you cant talk!

Yes and no are easy to convay in moews. A kitty is free to talk any time she(or he) feels it nesasary. But there maybe some kind of punishment needed, At masters discretion of course. And don't forget there are many ways to quiet a chatty kitty.

Is it just me, or is it "meow" in Britain, and "mew" in America? Is this because cats have different accents in different places or because people say it different in different countries?

This topic made me laugh, not in a bad way but in a silly way. Kitties can meow, talk or do whetever works for the people involved in the relationship. I say do what works right?

While my kitten is still learning, about 'kitten form' I find it useful to do a hybrid, allowing her to only meow partly, and speak when I tell her she is allowed, it works for us :P

My forum kitten hated when she wasnt allowed to talk like a human so about a month befor we broke up i let her talk like a human. So when i find another cute kitty ill let her decide if she wants to talk or only meow or mew or watever she wants to use

i talk in kitty form but mostly it is does mistress like and stuff like that unless im in per form then im only alowed to make kitty sounds mews purrs and such

This sort of thing is my lifestyle, not just a game. I wear my kitty items all day long, so there is no way I could just mew. Master gets annoyed if I mew too much anyways, he finds it much cuter when I talk in third person :3

Only mew (jama) is samthing that appertain to the play

I mao all the time anyway, but there are times when Master puts me specifically into kitty-mode and I'm allowed no talking at all. The rest of the time it's 3rd person speech mixed with meows and purrs. In fact, I purr a lot when I'm with Master. I'm a happy kitten.

When it's time for play, I mostly mew cause it makes Papa happy. But there are times when I do speak, but in a more cutesy style, just to let him know what I like/dislike.

Being a cat to me is not so much a fetish. like Morris it's an always thing. I never worry about it, sometimes I just nyao but not that often. I want a relationship built on understanding and communication so I just take for granted the fact I can converse with people =p To me if you think too hard about the rules you lose the fun of everything, but of course what kitty wants restraints? =p

Well, when it comes to this kitten.....I'm always in kitty form (unless at work) So I do talk, however, I meow a lot as well. My Master has a hard time at times understanding my "meows" lol.
