I just got the idea for this topic because my mom bought a new trampoline and I had to go over and steal it from her. It's one of those mini ones for exercising and it has a jump counter on it. I'm a tubby kitty, so I could only do 500 jumps before I got tired.
Alright, the point of this topic is to help out my fellow kitties lose weight (if any of you need to). Yes, all of you look fabulous, but I was hoping at least one or two of you would want to do this with me. I'm trying to get down to a size 8 (US clothing sizes) by summer next year. I don't want to do anything drastic because then I'll just gain the weight back.
Anyways, just post any exercises you like that would help all us other kittens burn some calories. If you want to participate in this, just post your goal weight and/or goal dress size. You can post your current weight/size if you're comfortable. Then every week, or whenever you have the time, post an update on your doing and feel free to add a pic if you're proud of your accomplishments.
Height: 5'4 (162cms)
Current Weight: 159lbs (72kgs)
Current Size: US 16
Goal Weight: 125lbs (56kgs)
Goal Size: US 8
Good luck everyone! :3

I did some fasting and trips to other countries. then I joined curves. Excercise can be fun, but the bigger trampolines are better. Enjoy your bouncies.
largest size 280lbs size 24 -_-

Sauna's can help but you need to be in the pool for at least an hour if you want to do a long sauna. You want your body well hydrated first.
Also the pool time is effective exercise.

*giggles* Size 24 was the highest I went, but that was when I was 232lbs though. I'm only 5'4, so I'm pretty short. I should add kg to my first post as well seeing as a few people on here are out of country.
@ Tsubi: yeah, it can help. My aunt uses that sometimes, but she can sit in there too long because she gets bored X3

A good combo of diet and exercise seems to be the best option available.
If you havent already, try to make some changes to your diet that will eliminate stuff with a lot of fats and sugars and little nutritional value. For example, if you stop drinking soda (including diet) it really cuts down on the amount of sugar that goes into your system. Another reccomendation I have is to make food at home, because often the stuff you make at home is healthier than what you would eat if you went out, and you wont feel pressured to eat so much of it :3
Getting at least 30 min of physical activity a day is another suggestion - you dont have to go on a run or anything, just going on a decent walk with a friend (or master x3); dancing, playing jump-rope (that burns a LOT of calories), ect. really makes a big difference.
XP I ran cross country for three years, and track and field for two... I dont run quite as often anymore, but I'm very careful about my diet, so I've managed to do alright.
@Tsubi: Hun, dont lose any more weight or you will be UNDERweight. I calculated your BMI, and its 18.9, which is very low already (recommended BMI is between 18.5-24.9). Keep up whatever you're doing, but I strongy encourage you not to try to start a diet or anything. Being underweight is just as dangerous as being overweight.

@ Anabelle: I don't drink soda and Master almost never takes me out to eat. I actually eat rather healthy, except for the few sugary treats I eat. I just don't exercise that much, so I need to start doing that.

I do a lot of yoga to stay toned and calm. My favorite exercise is the boxing program on Wii Sports. I'm pretty good at wiping the floor with the opponents that I'm pitted against, but the one challenger I seem to get more often than not looks like a biker who has just done a speed ball. I also do a ton of walking everyday, rain or shine.
My advice (for what it's worth) - eat nothing white, no sugar, no white flour, no white rice, no white bread, no white pasta. Go easy on the good carbs. Eat small meals about 5 times a day. Eats lots of raw veggies. Drink lots of water (no soda, not even the diet stuff).
Fast weightloss is gained by going to any work out place and finding a book that will give you a 1500 calorie diet. you don't stay on it too long but while on it you lose a pound a day. Fasting you lose about 3 pounds a day, but it's not that comfortable to get used to food again =p.

If You have a Wii, I suggest EA sports Active [you don't need a balance board] It's awesome, fun, and an actual get-ready-to-sweat workout. It does all the what excersizes should I do work out of it and gives you a monthly plan.

Ugh I wish we had a Wii D: I'm a Nintendo fan, but Master doesn't have the money to buy one. All we have is a PS2 which doesn't get used that often, if at all. The Nintendo 64 will definitely not be of help in this situation either XD
Ooo, forgot to mention I have one of the Pocket Pikachu pedometers. That will keep me amused seeing as I can play games with all the points I earn from walking/running/jumping/etc.
