Today I was wanting something different so I got a bowl and filled it with milk then grabbed bread. Milk bread is tasty, but unfortunately Yuki (my surrogate kitten {don't quite have the pipeworks for birthing kittens}) was interested in what i was eating as always. I like to encourage exploration so she had fun for a while licking the milk and dipping her nose into it, and then she started thinking about the bread. While I was dipping a piece she started biting a corner off of it. I would normally suggest not to let your kittens eat anything you are not sure they could handle from other people's tests, but since right now I am a stay at home mommy for her, she can experiment a bit. She really liked milk bread. I just found it funny and cute, she has not yet had any strange complications from the milk bread, I'm expecting it to just give her diarrhea as cow milk always does that to kittens.
The are very few limits to what the two of us can share, Yuki crossed one of those when she found my nipple!!!! Luckily she got over that idea after being thrown far away, so I don't have to wear clothes to sleep with her.
