Touching (batting, pouncing...)

Yeah, most of the times to BDSM people in the really-real world, uninvited touching is a cause for huge freakouts for people. I guess they think that hugs = rape, I dunno. It makes no sense.

But kitties, on the other hand, usually require large amounts of physical contact; petting, playing, snuggling, etc.

I think for online purposes, uninvited pouncesnuggles are just peachy-keeno.

I am also VERY affectionate (irl) and I know I will be on these forums.

I think alot of the reason that ppl arent "touchy" at a party or something like that is because the person they are touching or loving on might be owned by a very jealous owner OR maybe their kitten/sub would be jealous!

This is always a touchie issue.

personally, i dont mind my pet touching or being touched provided she has my persmission, but random grophing sooner results in my fingers on your throath then a smile.

online i dont care either way. in rl, touch only if you have my express permission.

I'm NOT a touchy-feely kinda person. Where I come from it's like the "hug" generation. People you hardly know (a.k.a. acquaintances) see you and then it's "hug time". ARGHH... kitty does not want!
However for people I know I love the touchy feely. If I were at a party say with you all, I'd probably be very affectionate (after hiding behind Master's legs until shyness lets up). But strangers just coming up to pet me? *swat swat* I don no youse! REOW!! However, if it were strange kitties coming up to me... well, I'm okay with the kitties. Why that is? I dunno.

Kitties have no hidden adjendas...everyone knows they're snugglers.

haha. True, it might be hot, though i doubt most people enjoy being taken by the thrat by me, i am not a gentle person when annoyed :P

But true, Kittens are fine usually, i just dislike certain types of people. cant really put a finger on exactly what but a certain "aura" people show is what pisses me of, and if they come near my kitty, they get me annoye ;)

I can't help but think I would annoy Temko to know end. Dunno why, maybe the strange mix of Dark God and Playful Kitty that comes out in my personality that just tends to drive people insane. I just see myself annoying him completely. So I'll just stay here online far away from him and pester everyone else.

you are honest about who you are, Matt-Sama. That is very noble. i am a natural born healer who uses only white light, with a tiger's spirit, and the loving playful heart of a kitten. i am uneasy about touch contact from people i am not really comfortable with a person being that close and starting the contact if i do not know them. Once i get to know a person a bit, i get very playful and will bat at chains on their outfits or swat at their feet and other playful light contact. Other kittens are seen as less threatening contact to me so i warm up easier to them.

Depending on the people I'm around I can be very happy to give hugs and even the occasional peck :3 Like at Fanime or other conventions-- random peoples you meet you give hugs.

I hug friends of my friends -- but anything beyond a friendly gesture I'm not comfortable with.

Hmm... for me as long as the person is just being friendly in their touches and isnt trying to get anything out of it it's okay with me... but if I was collared I'd make sure the person has permission from my master or vice versa.

Online here, I thinks it's great that us kittens can wave, pounce, head butt, etc, etc. It really gives me a sense of belonging. I have joined a couple of other 'fetish' sites and felt so out of place - kind of scared really. It's much more fun, open and friendly here.

In public however, I would never approach a collared kitten when she is with her Master. Being an uncollared kitten *sighs*, I'd just hang with the other uncollared kittens.

I love hugs. I'll freely hug any random kitty. And I love to play and bat at things.
I have a bad habit of batting and scratching at doors irl, too.

personally i wouldent have any problem with anouther kitten playing with my kitten in public or private and i wouldent hesitate to stroke anouther kitten assuming she was un collared but i know smudge would be ok with it

i have panic attacks around new voices and faces so meeting new people can be hard. if i am in a mood and this random new person touches me i will slowly start to freak. most often you will never know i am having a panic attack because they are silent. i sit down or gaze wide eyed and wont speak or move for a while. touching me can cause me to twitch. after a while if i enjoy your voice and i like your face its okay to touch my shoulder or hand. then after a while if i pounce on you and there is no "wtf" moment then its fine.

now when people are all over me touching me and getting in my f***ing face i become gaurded and easily aggressive. i can't people all over me touching me and feeling me up. it makes Kenoke ANGRY! AND WANT TO KEEL THE PERSON WHO IS DOING IT!

hehe! but i do try and be as respectful as i can and NOT touch disbelief

Im very touchy feely and like to be touched ^_^ contact is very calming.

Hugging and holding (like in a kitten pile) is great and so are just random hugs and things. But yea, I agree with most others, get to know people a little first before for permissions and what they are comfortable with and the like.

In real life, I like being touched/hugged/petted by close friends and people I know reasonably well. They have to get past the personal bubble thing first, though, so people I've just met walking up to me and getting too close is a definite no-no. I will (and do) freak out. It's an anxiety thing that people have learned to respect.

Online, I'm totally open to "*hugs* or *pounces*" because, well, we're online, and you're not invading my personal bubble, you're on the computer screen. As long as there is none of the "you're hot, we should meet up" thing going on, I'm fine with it all.

I hawe no problm whit hugs and I see a lot of hugings in the BDSM scene in sweden. But its a rader smal scene 500-1000 person in eatch "region" Stockholm, Götebotg, Malmö/Lund And we hawe a grat communyti www.darkside.se so thos how are activ in the scene are familiar or friends.

but huging a complit stranger are never so populor inside or utside the BDSM scene
