Super Powers!

i have a interest in 3 seperate types of super powers.

1) Techomancy (the ability to mentally controll electronic components, elements and objects)

2) Elemental power (who doesn''t want to be ableto shoot fire out of their ass for a prank? :P)

3) Full use of my brain. (ie: 100%)

and i'd be a "evil" dictator. why? becouse that way i make the rules and am capable of enforcing them. people will live to my moral standards or die by them. simple, no?

control over hydrogen and oxygen. basically so i can control water and all its forms and to be able to create it when only the elements hydrogen and oxygen are present. elementals are almost unbeatable if they know how to use their abilities and if they know chemistry. for me all i would have to do to win is take the water out of the enemies body. or make an ice bubble around them, melt a thin layer on the inside of it, boil the thin layer of water buy speeding up the molecules (if you control water control the molecule so) and keep the outside frozen by holding the molecules still, then it cooks the person inside alive.

hmm... i'd want control over a Colossal (size) air elemental. and i'd prolly be some form of chaotic neutral... omg, too much DnD 3.5...

just go for a gargantuan one, have it blessed by the elemental divine. but then going from the 3.5 rules you'd have to be either a elemental yourself or be in the possesion of a planar portal (the size of a small city) or be the wielder of a unlimited wish.

...pfft, to many new rules in 3.5, giev back 3.0 :D

agreed.

the air elemental thing came from one of the campaigns that i'm playing. my alternate self had a glass violin, and playing it caused a collossal air elemental to appear. if the user succeeds on an intimidate check, the elemental does the player's bidding! YAY!

i would have it compress, enter someone's lungs, then re-expand... >:D

I have given this topic far too much thought. The answer I am about to give is the result of nearly 3 hours of vigorous discussion between myself and Asian Vegas on the long drive from Carson City to Las Vegas. ("Asian Vegas" is a codename for a friend of mine who is half-Asian and lives in Las Vegas)

If I had any power, it would be over the manipulation of gravity. This seems kind of random, but I've got reasons. Overcomplicated, excessively geeky reasons. Short version: gravity is one of the four fundamental physical interactions, affecting EVERYTHING tangible (and some thing which are intangible) within the universe. Since Magneto is already all over magnetism, and having powers over either the strong or weak nuclear forces would be ludicrously difficult to handle effectively without causing a disaster ("oops I lost my concentration and set off a fission explosion"), gravity is the only one left. Man, the things you could do. Screw crushing a beer can on your forehead, watch me crush a Miata with my frontal lobes. :P

For my super power I would know the exact location of every squirrel in the universe, and be able to teleport any of them to any location whenever I want to. My weaknesses would be cats, dogs, snakes, and children with BB guns. I would try to be good but knowing how much I love revenge that would change very quickly. As for my name... Gingivitis!!! So people wouldnt know my power just from my name.

That, or the power of alchemy from FMA, the weaknesses being wanting more power and having to sacrifice body parts for it. For good/evil and name it would be the same.

Shape-shifting. Absolutely -- weakness would be I guess I'd be trapped in whatever form I chose for a certain amount of time. So...no bugs XD Or I could steal the Animorph thing and only be able to stay in the animal form for 2 hrs or get stuck that way.

omg, i used to LOVE animorphs... my grandma sent me the entire series, and i still have them!

well... I don't know what it would be called, but I would have complete control over energy. That would pretty much give me everything. I control its coming, its going, what has it, what doesn't, what shape it takes, make it change shapes..... pretty much down to controlling things on a molecular level. How cool would that be! Making atoms split apart then re-shape with other atoms making new cool stuff or just destroying stuff.... wow, feels like god-moding :)

good? evil? that's relative, really... what I plan to do is definitely good! going to fix things just like they're supposed to be. Although.... some people probably aren't gonna agree. A lot of people aren't going to agree. Actually... yeah, it's probably just me.
