Here's a cute idea I found online: Paper Craft!
I posted some pics.
THIS site does wonderful work.

PS To be honest I haven't tried any of them, mostly because we don't have a printer though personally I'd rather make little statues than papercraft. I find it easier to make statuettes rather than papercraft because to me it's nearly the same as drawing, only in 4D.
A few years ago I made super-deformed version of "Slayers" cast. I also made St. Tail. They turned out rather well. I wish I could show pictures but I left them in Italy.

Yep, it's Chii from "Chobits"!
