For me it's those things and a chance to have an excuse to drink all the milk I want!!! But no seriously I think you hit the nail on the head as far as I'm concerned. It's also a chance to try new things and be a part of something special and out of the ordinary with someone I love! =^.^= I'm so gushy :3 I love it!!!

For me...

playing w/ toys: yarn, ribbon, feathers, big fish plushes (yeah, I want that Miss A), curling up in the sun, being petted behind the ears, drinking/eating from my bowl, wearing my ears and tail all the time, mewing, yeowling, maybe even a few hisses, jumping up and down on the furniture (making a mess if I can) before scurrying off....

Then there's the wonderful bond shared from knowing that I'm a cherished pet that makes Master smile.
That's the safest, most loving feeling.

to me, being a kitty means expressing more cat-like traits, like independence, femininity, dexterity, flexibility, and the desire to show love to those who have earned it.

First of all, welcome. :}

Petplay is far more than roleplay for me. It's all about expressing my inner kitty...or snow leopard kitty in my case.
