What makes a good slave and/or pet?

I think the most important thing that makes a good slave or a pet is their willingness to adapt and change. No matter who your Master/Mistress/Owner is, they are all going to have different tastes. For example, my Master likes it when I do things on the floor. (I.E. eat, drink, crochet, sew, watch movies...) Whatever it is he likes me to be on the floor.

However, some other Master or Mistress or Owner might prefer I always sit on the couch to their right (for example). So to them, I would not be a good slave, but for MY Master I am.

If one day Master decides that he wants me to eat at the table with him, and I am so upset he is breaking my routine that I argue and fight, then I think that is something which can ruin a good dynamic. Again, the inability to change. If Master wants me to sit at the table one day, and the next day he wants me to sit by his feet, then as a slave, it's my job to do as he asks. End of story in my book.

The answer to this question is so hard, I think, because what makes a good pet for someone will not make a good pet for someone else. I want to be the perfect slave. Not for EVERYONE, just for Master. I want to be the exact vision in HIS mind of what he wants in a slave, wife, f***toy, friend, etc, etc, etc. In order to be a really good slave/pet I think it's important to put our needs second (But not to ignore them) and do what it is our Master/Mistress/Owner needs and wants.

So, where I make my own Master very very happy, I am probably not a good fit for a lot of other people out there. (I think that about most slaves in general. I think that we are all pretty luck to find owners who are interested in out kinks, and who are a good fit for us.) I think that weather or not a slave is good or bad is totally dependant on the situation at hand, the owner/playpartner with them, and a few other factors depending totally on a case by case basis.

Labling someone as good or bad is so so difficult. I was reading in a forum the other day how one Master was saying that he HATED bratty subs, and could not stand them. By the same token, I know a lot of Masters LOVE bratty subs. I'm not sure this is the perfect expression for the matter, but I suppose "One man's trash is another man's treasure" seems to apply.

At heart I just think it takes... a bit of creativity on both ends, along with a sense of sexual adventure. I think it's true for both the slave and master... if those two qualities are not present, it could get quite dull.

What makes a good pet?

Hmm...I think mostly, it's just being true to yourself and your Owner. Of constantly informing your Owner of your thoughts and feelings. Of doing your best at everything and meaning it. If you're serving someone without any feeling to it, it's gonna show. Connection I think, is the key. The kind of relationship you have will help form the type of pet you'll be.

a "good" pet/slave/sub is subjective to everyone. some prefer docile, other prefer a strength of wills the whole time, other prefer verbal or emotional.. etc...

to me personally it's about 2 things that make a girl a good sub/pet/slave.

1) personality - she has to be willing to learn and accept punishment, cheerfull and obidient. but even so i dont want a drone - she has to be able to express her desires (be it verbally or otherwise) (a good example with my pet is that she will rub against my leg or new when she wants something, or she'll bring me her toy if she wants it. that way i know what she wants, and we both stasy within the elements of the roleplay.

that said - it's pretty easy to figure out what your pet wants and doesn't wnat once you are familier with each other.

2) time and emotion - what i cant handle are subs that keep secrets from me. more so secret that have emotional or social reprecussions. if i take my pet out for a walk, and she hid from me that, for example, her boss lives in the same street, i get quite upset (ie: she gets punishes). the same goes for time. you cant "clock" roleplay in this way and thus i am most definatly not interested in someone taht does not have the time to invest in it.

it's hard on me (both physicly and emotionaly) to switch back and forth between being a dom/master/owner and to the "guy next door". it takes a good deal of mental energy to do so for me. and i dislike wasting my energy due to time constraints (unless unaviodable).

the same goes for emional matters, if my pet was raped (Extreme case, but has happened) and she hides it from me, and it comes to a point when something i do distresses her in such a manner, i cant properly react to catch her from crashing emotionally. any pet/sub/slave that i have that hides something like this from me is no longer welcome. I can not invest myself in training/raising/disiplining/taking care of someone to have them hiding things from me that i NEED to know to do my role/job/etc.. properly.

any girl/woman that meets these criteria is most welcome to me.
