Explain your name!

Well I wanted something along the lines of "kitten master", but thought I would spice it up by translating it to latin.

The web site I used translated kitten master into kitten vinco
which I did not like, since kitten did not change, so after some playing
around I was able to translate animal master into bestia vinco.

Oddly if you translate bestia from Welsh to English you get did I paste which is completly off the point, but I did it by accident and felt the need to share that useless information with someone.

In Italian "Bestia" means "Beast" so at first I thought you were italian :P

When I started using the internet (in junior high), I went by the nick "Kitiara Uth Matar" a character from series of books "DragonLance". I thought she was strong & wanted to be like her.
Too many years after "Kit" just became another "me" and not strong at all.
Then for SL I had to create a nick choosing a surname "Beaumont" from list they had available. Since I like felines and tigers but wanted something original I choose "Tygra".
And it comes in handy as a net alias :P

Coincidently the first letters the full nick are the same of but inversed of my real name (Master & Faete know).

Ever have one of those conversations with your significant other that meant something to you and then later you mention it and your significant other doesn't remember it at all?

That's how got this name. Me and my boyfriend were cuddled up in bed and talking, so I asked "So if we were to do this kitten thing more often what would you wanna nick name me?" He smirked and looked up at the ceiling clearly thinking back on all the non annoying cutsey girl names that existed (My real first name is rather long, and it only get longer with adding my very long middle/last name) and eventually produced the name Crystal. I liked it and it stuck.

This week we went collar shopping and I brought up the name Crystal and he looked at me as if I was crazy. Oh well, over the course of us being in eachother's lives it's rather clear that anything I remember, he doesn't and vice versa.

My old internet nickname used to be Piper Green, but now it's Crystal Quartz, Quartz for my lover's last name that oddly starts with Q.

Sir and I discussed a name awhile back, but it never quite took. He's been referring to me quite simply as 'Kitty', which, to be honest, is oddly good enough for me. Lol.

As for my username, I wanted something unique, cute, and not as corny as my usual IDs, lol. It's supposed to be "pretty kitty" in French, ("joli" being "pretty" and "minou" being "kitty") but as I only took on semester of French my freshman year of high school, I'm pretty sure the noun and the adjective are mixed around. :\

kitten is what Master called me, i got it pretty much as soon as i became his slave, he would just call me his little kitten then one day gave me a kitty collar with a name tag saying 'kitten'

my avatar is a pic of me that Master and i took quickly for the purpose of using it as my avatar, im starting to dislike it now though, the colour of the top im wearing isnt very me

Hrmm the name Morhion, or as you may see throughout the intraweb, in various ways I use my signature name :P:

Morhion, MorhionG, MorhionGendehar, but usually either Morhion or MorhionG

For those that may wonder how to pronounce it (Mor-he-on)

It was a character from a book called "Curse of the Shadow Mage". The character was a mage who made a pact with a ghost to elongate his life to help a friend, when the pact was up he would lose his body to the ghost.

But I simply used 'Morhion' as I always do, and Master, as I am a Dom, and now I have my kitten, so I am Master as well ^ ^.

I've used this name since I was about 13, It's also been various characters in console rpgs, and MMO's as well. I also go by the name of Drystin as well :P

As for my Avatar, it's...me? lol.

I picked MissAbsinthe as I think it is my favourite, it's the one I use in my burlesque moments :)
I love Absinthe so much (I used to be an addict) that my affection for it surpasses the drink, and so I'll often make homages to it in my moves/photos/usernames.
And the picture? Well I guess my avatar is what it is because what it is is me :) (That was a tongue twister)

- My real name is Faete, and since it is generally not shared by many, I tend to use it as my name in forums a lot.

Why is your avatar what it is?:

- My avatar is the only handy picture of myself as a kitten I had when I signed up. However, it is not up to date because I am bald now. I've been bald for about two years, and my camera is older than dirt. At this point, it's about 5 years old, and it's a crappy vivitar thing. About three years or so ago we started taking a lot less pictures due to the sh*t quality of the camera. It's nearly impossible to take pics indoors with it now. I want to update my pic, but the only real means I have of doing that ATM is with a web cam, and the webcam isn't very wonderful either.

Actually, Master and me are getting married in a month, and after that we are hoping to replace the camera. :) Yay. *giggle*

So, there's my really long winded explanation. ^_^

I called myself squeak because thats one of my boyfriends pet names for me, because he thinks Im cute and squeak when Im excited or scared lol. He used to call me piglet, then piggers which I didnt like so much, and now squeak lol

Just a side note about absinthe, one of my professors at uni drinks it all the time and gave us a lecture about it once. He says the best place to get it is Prague? And I didnt know until he told me that it has the same chemical properties as magic mushrooms, which means you get high and drunk!

My name was just something random I wanted to come up with, switching out the i for a y because I like being a little different. Before, it was KittyMynx, but I just shortened it to Mynx.

My avatar is just my favorite animal at the moment. I don't have any nice pictures of me because my new camera doesn't have a memory card yet to move pictures over to my computer.

Not much i can say here, but my forum name is my Favorite animal (fictional)... Dragon, i have a few posters and Drakon is the Swedish traslation of Dragon...

Avitar... I dont have one because of a few reasons, firstly im not picture quality and secondly i dont specifically own a Dragon avitar...

Anyways its nice to hear how you all get you names! aww

I am sure that someone wont mind using their artwork as an avatar, if you are worried about digital copywrite email them, or just say it isnt your are in your biography/signature, and link to the artists website

Well it's my automatic user name for a year or so.... since my little Manny passed away! He was a large white rat with a skin condition and tons of love! He went everywhere with me and slept in my bed with me at night and free ranged my room at all times :D he mostly lived on my bed.... He was really sickly since he was a baby though, and I had to put him to sleep when he was only 3 years old :(.... My email is imissmabin cause that was my adventurous black rat who was like the polar opposite of Manny... I couldn't free range him cause he'd try to follow me out the door! He went most places with me though and loved rock concerts back when I was a teen hehe....

Well I don't have too many pics of me as a cat :(.... I want more, but I'm all shy about it! I eventually want a pic of every pair of cat ears I own, which is like 8 now (prolly have had about 25, but people borrow them and never give them back and steal them and I lost a bunch at parties from my reckless younger years....). I look alot different than that pic too so I'll try and get a recent one for sure!

Why is your username what it is?: Well I am called kitten by Master as well and decided to do that plus the 130 that is part of my email. Only thing is, when I made it, I didn't know there was already another person on here with the name "kitten" till I went through with it.

My screen name is "Macula", it used to be "MAcula" but the capital "A" seems to annoy the grammar sticklers so I changed it. :)

From a long long time ago when the internet was not quite here, I used to use a telnet account on a BBS named Channel One to chat. Because of the un-conventional method I used to access the site and telnet I didn't have a screen name and it needed a screen name to log me out. I would write "MA c u later" so people would know I was logged off. It was shortened to "MAcula" by the dumb computer and other people began to assume my screen name was MAcula. Un be knownst to me. :LOL: One day in a conversation with RL Friend about hacking they quoted parts of a group conversation they ad with people including "MAcula". I was like, no I said that and it clicked people thought there was a user MAcula. Much later in life when I was on the internet and needed a handle it came back to me and tats the story.
