Fanks for the artsy topic!

MasterMorhion...that...uhm.. *scratches her head* that sketch is VERY detailed.
Scary, but I like it! n_n *chuckles softly*

Tygra, your art pieces are so colourful! I really, really like them. Especially the Dragon Wings, picture. ^.^V
Whenever I add colour to my sketches, I ruin them! So I'm always admiring and envying all the artists that use colour in their own pieces of work. >w

Here are a few of my sketches. ^^

1) Dixie (before):
Description: Well, Dixie was just a random sketch I sat down to do one Saturday evening, since I didn't really have much else to do. This is how Dixie looked, prior to me re-doing her breasts and ears. xD In this first sketch, Dixie is pulling on a shirt, after just stepping out of the shower!

Note: This first part was sketched around December of 07.

2) Dixie (after):
Description: Breasts have been redone, hair redone, hands have been drawn and a few other...things. x.x; -Dixie isn't pulling on a shirt anymore... *blinks* She's just posing now. xD

3) Cordelia or Cordy:
Description: This sketch was done about...two years ago, and is the oldest one in this entire post. x)

Note: eeee...to be honest, I really ONLY like this picture from the waist-down. >w<; *pouts*

4) Brace or Braceline:
Description: Brace is a bit of a troublesome child. She enjoys dressing up and pretending to be (what she declares) the only female pirate in the Carribbean.

5) Prince Aaron or Aaron the Coward:
Description: Well...I think his name kinda says it all. Note: Prince Aaron is very swift on his feet. *chuckles* How fitting.

6) MrowMina or Mina:
Description: Mina is a kitten - Not the friendliest of kittens, but a kitten nonetheless. She's destructive, loud, rough, frisky and a bit of a show-off. Currently, her weaknesses are unknown.

I draw too, but I don't have anything scanned in. I don't think I am brave enough to share either. lol. It's funny how I can share myself, but when it comes to my drawings I am all scaredy cat. lol.

MasterMorhion: I love the detail in your sketch. I agree though, a bit scarey. ;)

Tygra: I love how the girl you drew seems to have such a mischievious smile. he he. I bet she would get in a lot of trouble. :D

And Lala: I love how your drawings are so simple, and yet stunning. :) Plus, I am a big fan of titties. *giggle*

Those are really good sketches La la, I love the detail of the eyes, and the simple yet captivating way your eyes are drawn to certain aspects of each drawing :P

Kitten, you know how I feel about your drawings, I think all of them are fabulous, and I love the detail you put in the eyes and the color, you should really do more ^ ^, I'll just have to give you the proper inspiration.

And thank you Faete, I hardly draw anymore, mainly because I have no real reason, nor inspiration. I unlike most people do not have the 'gift' of drawing, I can't just draw things from my head, I have to use existing pictures and then alter them how I wish, I used Leanardo Davinci's ugly men as a base for Morhion, then changed it how I saw fit.

Until I can learn to draw anything but lizard men from my own head, I'll be stuck drawing this way lol :P

Oh...*gives her arm a gentle tug* We're all quite friendly here. ^.^ You shouldn't be nervous about posting up your sketches! (Drat, now you've gotten me all curious! >w<)

Remember, artists are their own worst critics. (Some more so than others)
I always need to remind myself that...if I keep practicing, as time goes by I will get better at it. ^^ - We all have our own unique styles! I can't say that I've ever really seen one piece of artwork that I would call 'terrible'. Only because...I understand that artists go through many different stages. Nobody starts off brilliantly...but we all start somewhere. *smiles*

Unfortunately you're right.
I'm terribly critic of myself in everything I do.

And easily discouraged as well.
I used to draw a lot more, to the point I got my own style.
Then I started seeing other people's work (online) and my already low self-confidence did a plunge...

Well Tygra, you and I both have something that some artists don't have.
People that care about us and encourage us to continue to do our best...regardless of what others may say.
xD I had the same problem (*waves a tiny paw* I get easily discouraged as well)...I'd look at other artist's sketches...and then take off running in the other direction. I'm not a pro! ...Well..not yet!
But my master commented by saying that...those really talented artists weren't always like that. They had to work their way up to where they are now. ^^
I had to sit back and think about my real reasons for wanting to sketch.
Was it because I wanted to 'show-up' all the other really good artists out there?
Or was it that deep down inside, I really enjoyed sketching..and creating new characters for the little stories I wrote?
For me, it was the second one. ^^

Tygra, you have a master that (I sense) will stand behind you..and help you in any way he can, no matter what the folks out there might say. Or no matter what YOU yourself might say with regards to your own artwork. :)
I really, really, really like your art pieces and I really think you should continue to draw!. ;~; <333 Those colours....goodness, gracious..those pretty colours. u.u I luff them!

Thank you, Lala, for your kind words!
As for the colors, I actually paint my drawings and use chalk for the background.
Btw most of my pictures have a background story to them, just haven't written them. I've tried but can't quite manage it.

Yes, I think you're right about my Master will stand behind me and help in any way he can, no matter what the people out there might say or no matter what I might say.
He's already doing quite a good job, if I might say *winks at Master*

Ooh, a most excellent question which I will answer... NOW. *giggle* (I am full of giggles).

Well, I tend to share only things which I am proud of. I know I have excellent sewing skills, I work with my web cam - so I have no issues showing myself, and I love chatting with others, so no problems there.

Drawing is something altogether different for me. Most of the things which I draw are terribly poorly drawn. But I don't do it because I want others to see, I do it because I enjoy it.

Then again, I don't sew specifically to show others either. I do it because I enjoy it. Oh, I am just going 'round and 'round aren't I? lol.

Also, similar to MasterMorhion, most of the things I draw are copied from other places and changed around a bit. Most things aren't right out of my head.

There ya go. My cowardly excuse(s). Ok, I'll scan a few things in soon. lol.

I wish I could draw. Everyone I knows likes to draw, and can do it at least reasonably well, but I have no artistic talent period. I've been told I'm a decent writer, so maybe I'll post some stories, but you'll see no drawings from me. >.
