Master brought me home a bell we were working on today.  It was a rather large red bell which needed holes drilled into the top so I can make it into a kitty bell.  Later I plan to paint it and string a leather cord through it.  In the other forum, I posted the kitty toys I made as well.

This got me thinking.  How many of you out there (Aside from the kitty butt plugs the lovely Miss A makes..) make kitty accessories of your own.

Why do you do it?  Is it because you are poor, and it is inexpensive?  Is it because you just love making things?  Do you just want to have something that doesn't look like anyone else made it?  Or....? :)  I am curious.

Personally, I like making some of my kitty things, and I do it because not only do I enjoy crafting and DIY in general - but I also like having something which no one else will.  :)  (Wow, was that a run-on sentence or what?)  Also, I love recycling, and making something which may have gone into the rubbish into something wonderful and useful again.

What about you?  ^_^

To be honest I haven't exactly tried my own paws at creating little toys for myself! >w<
I was more into...working with beads. I love beads!
I usually make little beaded anklets, double tiered chokers, bracelets...and hair ornaments. ^^; Although, it has been a while...
Aaaand right now, I'm supposed to be knitting a really..funky looking scarf. T~T

But back to the question.

Why do I do it? Because it's fun and it passes the time. n_n
