The flip side of the "Why did you become a pet" question. What where the decisions and/or experiences that caused your decision to become a master/owner? Was it because of something you wanted or because of what the man/woman/kitty/cat/pet in your life wanted?

Ahhh memories...

Before learning about pet play I learned about bdsm. When I was around twelve I was playing with my friend, the proverbial girl next door, who was ten. We were playing keep-away with her younger sister. What her little sister did not realize is that whenever my friend had the item I was using it as an excuese to feel her up. Being the little pervert I was at the time my hands did a lot of roaming. My surprise came when my friend did not get upset, but instead sent her little sister inside and asked me follow her into her dads shed. Once in the shed my friend told me that if I tied her up I could do anything I wanted with her. I dont know where she came up with that idea at ten, but at twelve I thought it was great.

My first pet came in collage. I think Im the old foggie on this site being over forty. Back in the old days we did not have the internet so learning about different lifestyles was much harder to do. I had learned about bdsm early on, as I mentioned before, and had a girl friend that enjoyed it as well. After giving her a spanking one day I told her to be quite and sit on the floor beside my chair. Being in a playful mood she started whining and flashing her big puppy dog eyes at me. This lead to me calling her my puppy and then eventually to her wearing a dog collar and behaving as a puppy when ever we were together.

Since then Ive enjoyed pet play.

Thanks for asking the question, it brought back some fond memories.

Hrm, I've only only ever had three subs in my life, my third being, my little kitten now ^_^. I find myself quite picky, and am not the type of Dom to have very many subs. My previous sub introduced me into petplay, and actually was the one who introduced me to the site, she later decided she wasn't ready for a bdsm relationship, but my interest in petplay continued. I have always been a protector, and had always felt the need to do so. I've always loved cats, and their affectionate, curious, and care-free nature. When I learned about BDSM three years ago, I became heavily involved, as it was the huge chunk of my soul I was missing, combining petplay into it seems only natural, my sub acts very much like a little kitten, to treat her as such seems only the proper way to go about things.

I have been active in the BDSM lifestyle for about 4 years now. it started with little things, as these things do. but i plunged headfirst in the shallow end after i moved the first time. i started making sex toys for people into the lifestyle and i just got really interested in trying it out. i loved it. my first sub really helped me out in discovering what it was i liked. The dom persona just clicked with me. I am now embarking (or em-mewl-ing) in my first real petplay experience and i like it a lot. While i am not (please don't eat me for this) a big cat person, i find the concept of kitten play fascinating. I've always been a big caretaker, and this adds the perfect aspect of that into my D/s experience.

sorry, cant help this one very well. i am a dominant male, with a submissive wife.
she likes to be kitty, so i became her owner.

since i figured out what Mr. Toddles is for ( :P) i've never been submissive or vanilla, so i cant explain it. being a dom is what and who i am.

you see, as for me. It was a more or less a transition from... "Oh hey, i think you're a pretty cute girl. let's be friends!", to, "we should be dating like, years ago", to, "i hope you should know i like having control" "funny, i've been looking for someone to give control", to, casual spanking the slave when her parents were upstairs and no one would know but us, to, "hmmmm, you really like being treated like my pet. like my kitten? awesome! that works perfectly because i'm not to big on the whips and chains but still having the power!", to, "master! master! *big kitty eyes* guess what?!!?! there's more kittens out there!" "uhhh... i know. you mean like feline animals?" "no, silly! like sub kittens!"

needless to say, i made this account shortly afterwords
