So last night I saw a sexcetra program on Ponyplay, which got me thinking.
If you were a pony girl, would you be a show pony or a cart/working pony?
If I ever did dip into the world of pony play, I think i'd pretty much be dead in one day of pulling around heavy dominants in carts, I sadly, just don't have the build for it :(
It looks so fantastic when all the ponies pull them along, but I think 2 seconds and i'd be on the floor ready to be taken to the glue factory!
I guess show pony would be the only option for me, and even then...Somehow, I envision I'd end up mewing as I trotted around ;p

Hiya :)

Pony Play is a fun thing I will do occaisionally on the side. :) I'm not a cart OR show pony - I am a riding pony. (Although, I can really only give rides to people under or around 150 pounds, because I am not as strong as I would like to be. I am working on it though!)

Being a show pony requires a lot more stamina than I have, and I would LOVE cart pony training, but alas, have no carts.. And it would be super expensive to get one. :(

:) At least being a kitty doesn't require expensive stuffs.

what does being a show pony entail? ive never looked into pony play before, i dont see myself as a pony at all

i don't think i could do either, show or cart. it seems like to much labor for this lazy kitten *laughs* plus, the hooves kind of terrify me...

I'm curious to know what being a show pony is all about myself. I've never really heard of it as much as being a cart pony. I don't think I could do either, but it would be interesting to learn about it.

Hi everyone! :)

Being a show pony involves commands and routines which are worked out between trainer and pony. You then go to shows with your routines and compete for prizes! :)

A cart pony is one who will pull carts.

And, a riding pony is one who will give rides either as a four legged or two legged pony. A riding pony will have many commands to learn as well. :)

That's a REALLY, REALLY basic break down. :) But yeah.

I only play a pony now and then, and I have to be honest, the first few times I did I "meowed" by accident. lol! ^_^

I only like the show pony because you get to dress up just that little bit extra ^-^ lots of headdress feathers etc!

Actually, all three of them tend to dress up.  I've seen all types of ponies with feathers and extra special outfits. :)  Mainly ponies get all gussied up for shows. ;)  So, maybe you'd be more of an event pony? ;)

You don't mention riding ponies...

I'd be a show pony, just because I like attention, but what Kat doesn't like to be the center of attention? I doubt I'd ever do ponyplay, just because I'd probably invent the kat-pony...

The ponys are really pretty I got a chance to go see them before with a friend who is a pony but, we just went for fun. I got bit. Don't know why I guess she didn't like me but, one of them bit me so hard I bleed. I wasn't happy at all (even cried) but, they were very pretty I will say that. As far as ever trying it I don't have the grace for it. I think sir prefers his klumsy kitty anyway. lol :D
